I have a strong academic background in cell and molecular biology, medical microbiology, and business management, with experience in both academia and industry. My expertise lies in Biologics Analytics, particularly in bioassays, where I focus on developing and validating ELISA, cell-based, and molecular/kinetic assays. I utilize a wide range of technologies, including analytical chemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, and immunology, for preclinical and clinical development. Having worked in R&D and cGMP settings, I am well-versed in ICH, FDA, and EMA guidelines. My research interests include immunotherapy, analytical sciences, cancer biology, and infectious diseases. Besides science, I am passionate about business and gardening, and I enjoy problem-solving as a core aspect of my work. Science, next to family and friends, is the biggest part of my life, fueling my dedication as a scientist.

Rima Rana

Rima Rana is a graduate student at Wayne State University, specializing in the role of cell adhesion molecules (CAM) in neuron generation. Utilizing both in-vivo and in-vitro techniques, she explores how developing neurons employ CAMs during neuronal circuit formation. Rima holds a master’s degree in pharmacology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), where she was awarded a gold medal for academic excellence. She brings extensive experience in plant-based pharmacological research and teaching at the undergraduate and diploma levels. Additionally, she is a registered pharmacist in Nepal with research interests in neurodegenerative disorders.
